Melamine sponge has a pronounced stain removal ability and are effective when cleaning hard surfaces, but are not suitable for all materials. The use of sponge wipes is not recommended for these materials.

Soft or coated surfaces that are easy to scratch

Wooden surfaces: solid wood floors, wooden furniture, lacquered wooden doors

Micron-level friction from sponges may abrade the wood's lacquered or polished layers, resulting in matting or scratches.

Leather products: leather shoes, sofas, car seats

This may scratch the protective layer of the leather surface and can accelerate deterioration, fading or cracking.

Baked/plated surfaces: car paintwork, piano lacquered furniture

This may damage the mirror effect of high-gloss coatings, leaving fine scratches that affect aesthetics.

high precision or fragile materials

Electronic screens: mobile phone screens, tablet PCs, TV screens

Friction can scratch the protective layer of the screen and reduce touch sensitivity or display clarity.

Non-stick coating: Teflon coated cookware.

This can damage the anti-stick properties of the coating.

the surface of the special process treatment

Matte / frosted material: matte tiles, frosted glass

Friction will destroy the matte texture and form local bright spots, affecting the overall visual effect.

Silk/suede material: suede sofa, velvet carpet.

This may damage the fibre structure, resulting in pilling or de-pilling.
