It is specially designed for packaging and bundling wire harnesses in the automotive industry. When in use, the working temperature should be above 10℃. It is best to choose the semi-overlapping winding method, with 100% overlap when winding the last layer, and do not overstretch. Precautions for use
Temperature of use environment
The temperature range for PVC automotive wire harness tape is generally between - 40°C and 105°C. If the temperature is too low, the product may become less flexible, cracking and hardening. If the temperature is too low, the flexibility of the product may be reduced, cracking and hardening may occur, which may affect the results of use. If the temperature is too high, the tape may become soft and not adhere well, which can lead to reduced strength.
Harness surface treatment
Before using the tape, you need to make sure that the surface of the harness is clean, dry and free of impurities such as oil and dust. The surface of the harness can be wiped with a clean cloth before use.
Winding Tips
The tape should be wound with proper tension to avoid being too loose or too tight. Too loose will make the tape can not closely fit the wire harness, easy to loose, shift, affect the protection effect. Over-tightening may cause damage to the wire harness, and at the same time, the tape itself will be subjected to excessive pressure, resulting in deformation or even breakage of the tape.
Fire Protection Requirements
The interior space of a car is relatively closed, and in the event of a fire, the fire will spread easily. Storage
Unused adhesive tapes should be stored properly, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity and other environments. Store the tape in a cool, dry place and make sure that the core of the tape is not damaged so that it will not affect the next use.
