How to Select and Store PVC Tape
- PVC tape should be stored in a dry warehouse, away from direct exposure to sunlight or rain. The room temperature should be maintained between -15°C and 40°C to ensure the tape's performance remains stable.
- If stored for an extended period, it is recommended to rotate the tape every quarter to prevent deformation caused by prolonged inactivity.
- When selecting tape, choose based on actual usage requirements and specific conditions. Do not mix different types, specifications, strengths, or fabric layers of tape to ensure safety.
- Unopened tape should retain its original packaging film. For opened tape, wrap the adhesive surface with PE film to prevent dust and debris from adhering to the tape surface.
- The warehouse storing the tape must be equipped with a dry powder fire extinguisher. Open flames are prohibited, and the distance between stacked tape and lighting fixtures must be ≥0.5 metres.
